If you took advantage of a promotional discount to receive your first monthly craft package, you can cancel only after your first craft package is delivered. If you decide this isn't for you, then please use our contact form to cancel.

How can I purchase Carefree Crafts kits?
You can either 1) Subscribe to receive a monthly package filled with 5 to 6 fun craft kits or 2) Purchase individual craft kits.
Who manufactures your craft kits?
We source craft kits and supplies from retail craft suppliers including Oriental Trading, S&S Worldwide, Discount School Supply, etc. We hand-select craft kits and supplies made of foam, felt, or kid-friendly materials that can stand up to some wear and tear for small developing hands. We also include craft supplies and adhesive that create minimal mess.
How much is shipping for individual craft kits?
Your total order will ship for FREE (in the 48 US contiguous states only)!
When can I expect to receive my individual craft kit(s)?
Expect to receive your individual craft kit(s) within 5-7 business days or sooner.
Why should I subscribe to Carefree Crafts?
We know how busy you are and we see how much fun our kids have when we work on crafts with them. We also know that finding fun, easy craft projects can be difficult or expensive. We do all the work (selecting, testing, purchasing, and mailing kits every month) to deliver crafts to you. Your kids will get the benefits of:
What is included in a monthly Carefree Crafts package?
You will receive a curated package of 5 to 6 fun, holiday- or seasonal-themed crafts each month. Since each month’s package is different and tailored to your child's age and gender, we display the "typical" upcoming package on our subscription page. Each and every craft is hand-picked by Carolyn and her children and must pass the test of "fun" and "ease". We enhance the craft kits with improved instructions, full-color photos that can be used as a guide, and additional craft tools, supplies, and adhesive! Craft kits can be used all at once or throughout the month.
How do you choose what crafts go into a monthly package?
We choose craft kits that will be age and gender appropriate. As an example, we know that 3-year olds have developing motor skills, so we will include more sticker crafts vs. crafts that require use of glue. We know that 6-year olds need a little more challenge and will want more intricate crafts. For crafts where we have multiple color variations available, when possible, we try to include colors that appeal to boys (blue, green) and colors that appeal to girls (pink, purple).
Can't I just buy these crafts myself? Wouldn't that be cheaper?
Sure, you could, but because craft suppliers generally sell crafts in bulk, you would have to pay over $50 (not including shipping) to get the crafts that we include in our curated packages.
Carefree Crafts also tests multiple craft kits to ensure kids will like the crafts and can be easily be completed in a time frame that will hold a child's attention, which is generally short! We do this so you don't have to waste your time and money on craft kits that may create frustration!
We also enhance some of the craft kits with accurate instructions, adhesive, and embellishments.
What holidays and seasons are included?
We include crafts that will help your children celebrate and look forward to Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
When will I receive my first monthly craft package?
As a new subscriber, you will see an expected delivery date when you place your order (on the subscription page).
Monthly craft packages generally ship during first week of the month to ongoing subscribers.
When will my credit card be charged?
When you sign up for a monthly subscription, your credit card will be charged immediately. After that, we bill between the 16th-20th of the month for the next month’s craft package that ships the first week of the next month.
However, if you sign up between the 1st and the 31st and receive that current month’s craft package (e.g., December), you will not be billed during that month unless you opt-in to do so. We do this to ensure you’ve had adequate time to use your current month’s crafts (e.g., December). We will contact you via email to find out if you want to be billed for next month’s craft package (shipping the first week of January). If you don’t want the next month’s craft package (January), you will be billed the following month (January 16) for the craft package shipping 2 weeks later (1st week of February).

What is the cancellation policy for subscriptions?
Monthly and auto-renewing subscriptions can be cancelled through our contact form.
How do I update my credit card information?
Please go to My Account and click on the "Change Payment Method" button to update your credit card. Billing address information should be changed at the bottom of the My Account page. If you have any issues, you can call us at (586) 840-8889.
I'm moving. How do I update my shipping address?
If you need to update your shipping address, please go to My Account and edit your shipping address. Please note that you must change your address by the 20th of the month in order to have that month's craft package shipped to your updated address.
Why don't you ship in a box? Why the padded envelope?
We can fit A LOT of craft supplies in a padded mailer. We sometimes send 8.5"x11" projects and sometimes larger craft projects! This wouldn't be possible with a cardboard box. Our padded mailers are made from #4 and #6 plastics and can be recycled.
What exactly happens after ordering?
You will receive an order confirmation email. If you don't, we didn't receive your order, so please try ordering again!
What is your return policy?
We do not accept returns or provide refunds. However, if you have an issue with a kit, please contact us.
Where do you ship?
For subscriptions, we only ship to U.S. addresses (including Alaska, Hawaii, and APO, FPO, DPO addresses).
For individual craft kits, we only ship to the contiguous U.S.
Do you provide product review packages?
We do provide free product review packages to a limited number of bloggers and publicists. Please send us your website's purpose and statistics. Due to the volume of requests, we aren't able to reply to every request.
Do you have an affiliate program?
Not yet, but we expect to have one soon. Be sure to subscribe to our email newsletter to find out when our program launches!
Do you offer subscriptions for fundraising events and silent auctions?
We will review your request, but cannot reply to every request due to the volume we receive.
