We are giving away this pink Holiday Inspirations Valentine Foam House Kit that I purchased from Joann. It immediately appealed to my daughter, Sage (age 5), because of all of the pink colors and glitter! The roof shingles are all individual pieces with self-adhesive, so Sage peeled the sticky backing off each one, and I stuck them on the roof. She loved the little owl and birds!
Because we usually only have 10-15 minutes to sit down to work on crafts at a time, it did take us a few sittings to complete. Sage needed a lot of help assembling this kit, but she loved the end result! Compared to the Creatology Valentine Heart House Foam Kit that Sage worked on last week mostly by herself, this kit is more geared toward a 6-7 year old.
Here is what the assembly process looked like. We used tacky glue to secure the structure of the house and for other pieces. Tacky glue is the best glue for foam, if you don’t want to use your hot glue gun.
